JUST IN!
A very kind family of 4 in Holmby Park is looking for a new part time nanny! This family loves their current nannies. They are both part of their family. Their Monday nanny will stay on, at least until the children have fully adjusted to their new T-F nanny (at which time a conversation can be had about adding Mondays to the new nanny’s schedule, if they wish.) Their current T-F nanny is switching careers but will remain in the family’s lives through date night and weekend babysitting. The position will begin officially in July, with some hours prior to help ease the transition.
PLEASE READ THESE DETAILS IN FULL AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO APPLYING. THANK YOU!
Start Date: July (with some hours starting ASAP)
Location: Holmby Park area (very briefly in Hancock Park but the family is moving to Holmby Park by July)
Parents: Mom (works from home) and dad (works from an office.)
Children: 6-year-old girl in kindergarten and nearly 4-year-old boy, in preschool.
Pets: None
Guaranteed Schedule: T-F 12pm-6:30pm totaling 26 weekly hours (a willingness to work extra hours on occasion is important and Mondays may be added to the schedule in the future, if this is something the nanny would prefer.)
Longevity: Long term
Compensation: $35 per hour on payroll as a W2 employee
Benefits: Standard paid time off
Requirements:
· 5+ years professional childcare experience starting at the age of 18 (including time as a nanny)
· Legal authorization to work in the US
· Current in-person cpr/first aid certification
· Clean criminal background (willing to undergo thorough background check and apply for Trustline if not already registered)
· Fluent English speaker
· Clean driving record (nanny car provided for on-the-job driving)
· Covid vaccinated with at least one booster
· Annual flu shot
Personality/Vibe: They are looking for their new nanny to be loving to their children, first and foremost. They would like someone outgoing, who really enjoys being with kids and who will be actively engaged and playing with the kids, not on their phone. Please be a solid communicator (mom is not a micromanager and is very respectful about disrupting the nanny’s flow with the kids, so someone willing and able to communicate effectively with her about that sort of thing and who will send photos, etc. is important), a proactive multitasker, and someone who keeps their cool and doesn’t get frazzled easily.
Duties: Children's laundry (and ironing of daughter's school uniform if time allows), children’s dishes, children’s meal prep (lunches/snacks/basic dinner), and some family errands and organizational tasks (when there is time prior to school pick-ups.)
Travel: Potentially on occasion, in the future (not a dealbreaker)
Submission Instructions: If this sounds like the perfect position for you, please forward your professional childcare resume (in word or pdf format) to naysnannies@gmail.com with the subject line HP NANNY!
