Lovely first-time parents in West Hollywood are looking for an incredible long-term, full-time nanny for their baby girl (5 months old at the time the position starts!) Dad works from a home office and mom will be returning to work in mid-March. They would like some time with the nanny beforehand. They are traveling at the end of February and are hoping to have their new nanny in place before they leave, to begin March 4!
The schedule will be M-F 7:30am-5:30pm guaranteed, but they need someone flexible to stay late some evenings and willing to work occasional overnights with the baby if they are away. They also need someone willing and able to travel, both domestically and internationally. The family does have two medium sized, friendly dogs who are a part of their family and a dog loving nanny is needed.
The requirements for this position are as follows:
10+ years of professional experience with babies starting at the age of 18 (with impeccable, verifiable references), cpr/first aid in-person certification, current tdap, covid vaccination, flu shot preferred but not a dealbreaker. English speaking is needed, Spanish speaking would be a plus. Legal ability to work in the US is required. In addition to the invaluable hands-on experience, they are looking for someone with baby/child related course work/training under their belt (baby led weaning would be a huge plus.) Please have a clear criminal background (Trustline registered or able and willing to be), and a clean driving record, with a safe, reliable vehicle. Please be active, to keep up with the baby once she is mobile!
The duties are all standard things related to the baby’s needs.
The family is very chill, friendly, and welcoming. They are seeking a warm, loving person to join their family, someone who will them advice based on experience and education, who really knows babies and can guide them along the way as new parents.
The pay being offered for this position is $35-$40 on payroll, with standard paid time off and healthcare benefits.
