Full Time Infant Nanny Position in West Hollywood! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

A hard-working pair of first-time parents in West Hollywood is seeking a professional full time infant nanny for their 2.5-month-old baby girl to begin in September! The position may end in March but there is also the possibility for long term extension.

Please read the details in full:

• Start Date: September 2 (flexible to start a bit later)

• Location: West Hollywood

• Parents: Mom is a writer who works from home and Dad is a TV producer, working outside of the home.

• Child: 2.5-month-old baby girl

• Pets: One small friendly dog (no responsibilities but should be comfortable with dogs)

• Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

• Compensation: $35-$45 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

• Benefits: Standard PTO as listed in the work agreement and negotiable healthcare and educational stipends.

• Requirements (not negotiable):

o Minimum of 10+ years’ professional childcare experience (starting at the age of 18) including a significant amount of time with young babies

o Legal authorization to work in the US

o A clear criminal background and willing to undergo background check & registered with Trustline if not already listed

o Covid vaccinated

o Annual flu shot

o Current tdap

o Fluent English speaking (second language a plus)

o Current CPR/FA (in-person) or willing to update upon placement

o Clean driving record

o A safe, reliable vehicle is a plus (but may have access to a car most of the time)

o A firm understanding of developmental milestones with ability and willingness to guide new parents

o Experience with all the firsts (such as introducing solids)

o Ability and willingness to be consistently engaging with the baby (NOT on their phone)

o Course work in child development is a plus

o Passport ready is a plus

o Excellent organizational skills (you will have the opportunity to set up the playroom!)

o Physical ability to be active and playful as the baby grows and to handle a lot of stairs

• Personality/Vibe: This is a chill and calm and quiet house (other than the dog!) It is a very clean home. The best fit for this family is someone who can read a room but who is also very communicative (letting parents know if they have concerns, asking for developmentally appropriate supplies, etc.) Someone very knowledgeable and confident, but not abrasive.

• Duties:

o Baby related (including her bottles/pump parts, her laundry, tidying and organizing her areas, all meal prep for her once she begins solids)

o Light household support during naps (such as loading/unloading the dishwasher and tidying common areas).
