A family of 5 is searching for a full-time, long-term Family Assistant to begin any time between now and the start of summer! They are really looking for the right person to add to their family. Please note that they live in Los Feliz but will be moving to their new home in Beverly Hills in the next few months. Please be willing to commute to both locations.
Mom is a SAHM looking for an extra set of experienced hands. Dad is a very busy clothing designer who travels frequently and Mom is hoping to be able to join him from time to time.
The kids are 10 years old (twin girls) and a 13-year-old boy. They also have a (large) young dog, so someone comfortable with dogs is a must; minimal dog related duties.
The schedule will be M-F from 11am-7pm guaranteed, with occasional date nights, overnights and weekend days (especially when dad is away.) The family is offering $35-$45 on payroll with standard paid time off and a generous healthcare stipend.
The requirements are as follows: 10+ years of professional childcare/family assistance experience, native Spanish speaking nanny or nanny of color strongly preferred, current CPR/FA in-person certification, a clean criminal background, a clean driving record (the family will provide a van to drive with the kids) and verifiable, glowing references. They are looking for someone with a maternal instinct, who is also resourceful to research camps, dance classes, etc. Someone with their ear to the ground to understand needs. An educational background would be helpful but is not required and covid vaccination is preferred but not a dealbreaker. Some travel will be required, mostly in the summer. Please have a valid passport. Must be authorized to work in the US.
The job duties will include: running house related errands, helping to manage the kids’ and family schedules, driving to and from games, school and other activities, overseeing homework, rotating kids’ clothes, emptying lunch bags/loading the dishwasher with their lunch containers, clearing the car of kid belongings, grocery shopping, and cooking for the family. The family has a daily housekeeper.
The right personality fit will be: someone who can read a room, with a high level of professionalism and healthy boundaries. A person with great time management and organizational skills, who is flexible and can take direction well while also being a self-starter once they learn the expectations of a job.
If you believe you have the skills and experience to offer this family the support they are requesting, please send your professional childcare/family assistant resume in word or pdf format to naysnannies@gmail.com using the subject FT FA.
