·      Initial covid vaccine

·      Current tdap

·      Annual flu shot preferred

·      English speaking

In terms of the fit, Mom says:

I'm looking for someone warm, engaged, and genuinely excited to spend time with my kids. My kids tend to connect best with people who are outgoing, playful, and enthusiastic—someone who is happy to get down on the floor and play, be silly, talk with them, and really get to know them. More than any particular personality type, though, I value warmth and a genuine desire to connect. I want my kids to understand that the people who care for them are important members of our household—people we treat with kindness, respect, and genuine interest. I hope to find someone who feels comfortable sitting down to eat with us, chatting about their day, and becoming part of the rhythm of our home.

I also see childcare as a true partnership. I want my nanny to feel like a trusted adult and an important part of the team—not simply someone following instructions. I value someone who is responsible, communicative, proactive, and comfortable making decisions when they’re the adult in charge. I'd love someone who notices what needs to be done and is willing to jump in, while also feeling empowered to speak up, offer ideas, and work together with me.

Ultimately, the ideal person has both sides: fun, affectionate, playful, and engaging with the kids, while also dependable, helpful, and proactive as part of the household. I've been incredibly fortunate to have wonderful experiences with the people who have cared for my children, and I hope to find someone who is excited to build that same kind of close, trusting relationship with our family.”
