Two very kind, hardworking mamas (sometimes from home) are looking for an energetic and fun, long-term, nanny to join their family three days per week for their two little girls in Thousand Oaks! These are repeat clients and their previous nanny is heartbroken to be leaving. They have two friendly dogs and a social cat, so comfort with animals is a must (they may ask you to open to door to let the dogs out but that will be the full extent of animal related duties!)
The girls are 5 years and 11 months old. The older child is in kindergarten most of the day, but it is very important to the family that their nanny engage and interact with her when she is home. She is an "energizer bunny" so they need someone who is able to keep up!
The schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8am-6pm (guaranteed) with likely opportunities for more hours. The pay will be $35 per hour with paid time off!
The duties for this position are strictly related to the children. They ask that their nanny ensure the girls are happy and tended to, fed, etc. and that you simply tidy up after yourself and the kids, leaving the house as it was when you arrived. Child laundry would be great if time allows.
Please be fully vaccinated (covid with booster and flu shot are both non-negotiable requirements), energetic, outgoing, and engaging. Experience (5+ years) with both ages is a must. The parents are English speaking and need a nanny who can communicate with them in English. Please be a safe driver with a clean record (car will be provided for on the job driving but they would like you to have reliable transportation to get to and from work!), have a clean criminal background and be and CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to placement.)
