Full Time Nanny Position for One Baby Girl in Culver West!

Really welcoming first time parents are looking for a full-time nanny for their baby girl at their home in the Culver West area of LA to begin in September! Please read this post IN FULL and ONLY apply if you meet ALL listed requirements by following the submission instructions. Thank you!

 

Location: Culver West (Mar Vista/Marina Del Rey)


Parents: Dad works in an office in Santa Monica and mom works from home

 

Child: 3-month-old

 

Pets: No pets

 

Guaranteed Schedule: M-TH 8:30/9am-5:30/6pm (to be solidified once both parents return to work) and F 10am-4pm with extra help requests for date nights and occasional weekends.

 

Longevity: Long term

 

Pay: $35-$40 on W2

Benefits: Standard paid time off and a modest healthcare stipend 

 

Requirements:

·       7+ years professional experience starting at the age of 18 (including ample time with young babies and impeccable, verifiable references)

·       Someone well versed in all the baby milestones and development/introducing solids/etc.

·       Experience cooking baby food

·       A clean criminal record (willing to undergo a thorough background check and Trustline registered or willing to go through the process)

·       Familiarity with west LA and knowledgeable about local baby/children classes, etc.

·       Current cpr/fa certification (in-person)

·       Current tdap

·       Annual flu shot a plus

·       A clean driving record for future driving

·       A safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided for on-the-job driving)

·       Fluent English speaking

·       A second language is a plus

·       Legal authorization to work in the US.

 

The family says: “We are looking for someone kind and warm. A proactive self-starter. Someone friendly and outgoing. I (Mom) want to be able to say hi and be social, but also need to be hyper focused when working, I need someone who understands that balance. We are looking for someone who can feel like part of our family. We want you to feel comfortable going into the fridge or making yourself a coffee and not feel like you have to tip toe. Make yourself at home. Be comfortable!”

 

Duties: They have a weekly housekeeper, but light tidying, help keeping home organized would be immensely helpful. Think putting away dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher and mostly baby related chores (baby food cooking, baby laundry, driving to classes, putting baby toys away, keeping baby areas tidy, maybe grabbing something from the store if out about.)

 

Travel: Possibly in the future
