Full Time Nanny for One Baby Boy in Hollywood Hills! UPDATE: THIS POSITION IS CLOSED.

We are delighted to be supporting this lovely and kind pair of first-time parents in their search for a full-time nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby boy at their home in Hollywood Hills! Start Date: Full time in September (or sooner!)

Location: Hollywood Hills

Parents: Mom and Dad run a business together and work from home some of the time (but are in and out)

Children: 3-month-old healthy baby boy

Pets: 1 small dog (20lbs.) very sweet, high energy. No duties but must be comfortable around dogs.

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 9am-6:30pm

Longevity: Long term!

Pay: $35 per hour (on payroll)

Benefits: Paid time off

Requirements:

·      10+ professional experience starting at the age of 18 including ample time with infants and the knowledge to guide first time parents

·      3 excellent verifiable references (and a history of long-term positions, please)

·      Current CPR/FA in-person certification

·      A clean criminal background (Trustline registered or willing to be)

·      Child development background a huge plus but must have firm grasp of developmental milestones

·      A clean driving record

·      A safe reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement) a plus BUT may have a nanny car available

·      Fluent English speaking

·      A second language would be a plus

·      Current tdap

·      Annual flu shot

·      Covid vaccination (initial round)

·      Authorized to work in the US

Personality/Vibe: Parents are really looking for a parenting partner who can take charge when working. Personality wise, they are fun and chill. Hard working. Familial, playful atmosphere. Nice dispositions with each other. A very warm household. Welcoming, nice parents. They are seeking a nanny with a strong child development background (either through formal education/coursework and/or ample hands-on experience) who is friendly, caring, attentive, and thoughtful, always coming up with activities for the baby. Someone who will recommend age-appropriate things for the baby's development. Someone who sends photos throughout the day. Also, someone who is proactive and takes initiative, maybe doing little extra organizational projects here and there if there is time (though this is not an expectation, the family is very respectful. It is just something their current part time person does and it is appreciated!) 

Duties: Baby related only including his laundry/bottles/dishes/areas and grocery shopping for him once he starts with solids, making him baby food from scratch. Light tidying if there is extra time (think folding a blanket that is out of place or unloading/loading the unload dishwasher) would be a huge plus.
