NCS Position Available to Begin in February, 2026 in Culver City, CA! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

This amazing family has returned to Nay’s Nannies after working with us to find their incredible nanny over a year ago. Now they are pregnant with Baby number 2 and need a fantastic NCS!

The family says: “This person will be a very essential and important player for the first 3 months in the core team with us and our amazing nanny.”

The details for this position are below!

Start Date: February 2

Location: Culver City

Child: One newborn baby girl, due in February (they have a two year old girl as well, she won’t be part of the duties)

Pets: None

Schedule: 6 nights, (10pm-7am) tapering down to 4

Longevity: 3 months

Pay: $45 per hour

Requirements:

•10+ years of experience with children starting at the age of 18

•At least 3 years of newborn care experience (including the night shift)

•NCS Trainings

•Current CPR/FA certification (in-person)

•Clean Criminal Record (Trustline registered)

•Legal Authorization to Work in the US

•Fluent English Speaker

•Covid Vaccinated (ideally with at least one booster)

•Annual Flu Shot

•Current Tdap

•Someone who believes in vaccinations and is respectful of the profession, cautious about the health of the babies in their care while on a contract with a family depending on you, even on off hours.)

•Physically strong enough to handle this many nights in a row, stable life so family doesn’t have to be worrying about them.

Personality/Vibe: Even with certification and experience, this family is seeking someone who is receptive to the parent’s and the nanny’s thoughts, with a team mentality. Someone warm, graceful, with a good sense of humor to keep the dynamic light with mom and dad. Someone conscientious and proactive.

Duties:

•Keeping baby safe is #1 priority. Mom is sensitive, prone to some anxiety. Someone who will check on the baby, super competent, super safety focused so mom feels comfortable sleeping.

•Nighttime feedings

•Help with gentle sleep training/conditioning (the family had a night doula with their first child, she really helped her to sleep through the night by the end of her contract, worked it in very gently.)
