Nanny Position for One Baby Boy in Studio City!

First time parents are looking for a loving nanny for their baby boy in Studio City, beginning right away! The position guarantees 30 hours per week (TWTH schedule.) Please note that this family is looking for a grandmotherly type of nanny who will be nurturing and attentive with both mom and baby as they guide mom through all the firsts!

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Studio City

Parents: Dad works from home (and the home isn’t large, so he really needs a nanny who will leave him to his work throughout the day and put their focus solely on the baby, with professional boundaries) and Mom works outside of the home and is looking for updates and reassurance

Children: 5-month-old healthy, happy baby boy

Pets: One friendly pug (comfort with dogs, please. Occasional walks with the baby would be nice but are not required!)

Schedule: TWTH 7am-5pm guaranteed 52 weeks out of the year and some occasional date nights requests for additional hours

Longevity: Long term

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Pay: $40 per hour

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience (starting at the age of 18; having raised your own children/grandkids is a huge plus!)

• Someone without rigid “by the book” philosophies (looking for someone who knows what works based on many years of hands-on experience.)

• Current cpr/fa certification (in-person)

• Clean criminal record (Trustline registered or willing and able to be)

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Annual flu vaccine

• Current tdap

• Fluency in English (a second language is a plus)

• Clean driving record for potential future driving, and a safe, reliable vehicle would be a plus (though the neighborhood is a good area for walks)

• College coursework would be a plus but not required

Personality/Vibe: This family is not super Type A. They describe themselves as “chill and normal, not complicated.” They are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly but professional

• Warm, nurturing, attentive and gentle

• Motherly, engaging, kind, and compassionate

• Calming and a reassuring presence to mom

Duties: Baby related housekeeping (ensuring that the nursery is well stocked, baby laundry), and some light tidying of the common spaces when there is time.
