Very kind, hardworking professionals and parents to one nearly two-year-old boy in Mid-City are looking for a new full-time nanny to begin ASAP! Mom and Dad are both lawyers who sometimes work from a dedicated workspace in home.
Family says: “We are looking for someone who will be warm, fun, engaging and active with our child, who is super social, sweet, energetic, and outgoing. We would love a caregiver who will take him to classes, the zoo, the library, museums, someone who is willing to create structure and who doesn’t want to be micromanaged. Our parenting style is inspired by Emillio Reggio and a flavor of Montessori. We are looking for someone patient and willing to meet him on his terms.”
Job details:
• Location: Mid-City (near Hancock Park)
• Schedule: M-F 8am-5:30pm (Guaranteed schedule/pay, but the family does need
flexibility for some days lasting until 6pm.)
• Pets: 2 cats (PLEASE NO CAT ALLERGIES, THEY ARE FRIENDLY.)
• Longevity: Long term
• Compensation: $35 per hour on payroll, with paid time off and a healthcare stipend
of $150 monthly.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional experience working with children
• 2+ years of professional nanny experience
• Stellar, verifiable references
• Clean criminal background (Trustline registered or willing to be and willing to submit to an in-depth background check.)
• English speaking (Spanish speaking is a big plus)
• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Current flu shot, tdap and initial covid vaccine
• Background in child development a plus

Duties:
• The position will only require duties related to the child (child meals, child tidying, child laundry, child organizing, keeping floors where child plays clean, etc. and unloading of the dishwasher will be requested.)
• However, once he begins part time preschool, they would like a candidate who will be open to family assistant type duties (family laundry, errands, organizational projects.)
