A very sweet pair of first-time parents is looking for a full-time nanny for their 8-month-old baby girl! The position begins in December (possibly part-time before then), and they are looking for a long-term situation.
They are searching for someone who is experienced, easy going but also professional, trustworthy, and sweet with a sense of humor. Someone who is adaptable and able to take direction well (their baby nurse currently has established a great schedule/routine with the baby which they would like to be continued with their new nanny.)
The schedule is M-F 9am-5pm, but Mondays will be a later shift, 11:15am-7:15pm (mom is in graduate school and ideally would have coverage while she is in class.) 40 hours per week will be guaranteed. Flexibility to stay late a few times a month is preferable. Both parents are in and out of the home, so their nanny should be comfortable with that. The family does have one friendly dog.
The job duties include everything related to the baby, as well as some light housework (they have a housekeeper.) Pay is $30 per hour and benefits include paid time off.
These are the requirements for the position and please note that they are NOT negotiable: must have full covid vaccination and at least one booster, be up to date on tdap, have a clean driving/criminal record, legal ability to work in the US and willingness to travel occasionally and to stay overnight with the baby if the parents are out of town for a few nights. Spanish speaking is a plus!
