A very sweet family in Los Feliz has returned to Nay’s Nannies for help finding a new nanny! Their current nanny is leaving for health-related reasons and has been with them since their (now) two-year-old little girl was 6 months. They are hoping to find someone who can start within the next two weeks who has the intention of being with them for long term!
Both parents work from home and their daughter is in school in the mornings. They have one large, friendly dog (not part of the job duties but a love for dogs is a plus!)
The guaranteed schedule will be M-F 12pm-7pm; they can offer an additional 5 hours in the evenings (to get to 40 hours), if the nanny would prefer and can be flexible on the days from week to week. The pay will be $30 per hour, with paid time off.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ professional childcare experience, current (in-person) CPR/First Aid certification, covid vaccination with one booster, flu shot (strongly preferred), a clean driving record with a safe reliable vehicle and a clean criminal background. Please be an open communicator who is receptive to feedback and an active person (this home has a lot of stairs, and their little girl is on the move!) Must be legal to work in the US.
The ideal person for this position will be great with toddlers/preschoolers, fun, warm, trustworthy/honest, reliable, patient and hardworking with a helpful mentality, although the expected duties are only related to the child. Travel is possible, but heavy travel will not be requested.
