Full Time Nanny Position in Culver City! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

Updated: Feb 20

A warm and welcoming family in Culver City is searching for a full-time, long-term nanny for their 10-month-old baby girl to begin right away! They will treat their nanny with respect and kindness; the family’s expressed goal is to have her bragging that she has “the best family ever!” Mom works from home exclusively and once a week, dad does as well. Please be comfortable in a collaborative environment, as mom will be involved. The baby is healthy but does have some food allergies, so the family needs someone able to assist with introducing foods in a slow and structured way.

The schedule is M-F from 8am-4pm and the pay being offered is $35 per hour on payroll with a healthcare stipend and standard paid time off.

Please have 5+ years of professional childcare experience (starting at the age of 18) with at least 3 years’ experience with babies under 2 and 3 glowing, verifiable references. Flu shot, current Tdap and Covid vaccine are required (booster a plus), as is current (in-person) CPR/FA certification, a clear criminal background/clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle and the legal authorization to work in the US. Must have the physical ability to keep up with a heavy and mobile baby as well as the maturity to stay off cell phone/devices while with the baby. Spanish speaking is a huge plus, fluency in English is required. Please have a passport for potential travel in the future.

The ideal person for this position will be happy, friendly, warm and joyful, safety conscious, proactive and interactive with the baby. The family would love someone with creative ideas on activities to engage their baby’s curiosity that will evolve as she grows. They are looking for someone who has expertise with introducing solids and supporting evolving milestones (walking, nap support, potty training etc.) Please have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, trustworthy, and have high integrity. A person with a helpful mentality would be a good fit for this family. They need a nanny who will be understanding and thoughtful of the baby’s allergies, willing to forgo wearing any fragrances.

In terms of duties, the first priority is the baby and all things baby related. The family also needs help with meal preparation; the job will entail cooking for the baby and making her a meal plan with an intentional, high variety diet. The nanny will not be expected to provide any deep cleaning but performing helpful tasks such as emptying the dishwasher or proactively folding towels while mom is nursing/baby is napping would be appreciated. A HUGE PLUS: The family would love someone open to cooking vegetarian/pescatarian lunches for the family, time permitting (even better if the nanny enjoys that and would be welcome to eat the meals as well!)

If you believe yourself to be a great fit for this family, please send your professional childcare resume (in word or pdf format) to naysnannies@gmail.com with the subject “CC NANNY!”
