Full Time Nanny Position for Two in Studio City, CA! UPDATE: THIS POSITION IS CLOSED.

A truly lovely family in Studio City has returned to Nay’s Nannies after 2.5 years with their wonderful nanny. They are looking for a new long-term nanny for their two young children to begin right away! The details are below. Start Date: ASAP

Location: Studio City (also have a property in Malibu, would love if their nanny would be open to the occasional overnight there.)

Parents: Both work in entertainment, sometimes from home (although they do have an office nearby as well.)

Children: One 4-month-old baby girl (darling, easy baby) and one 3-year-old boy (Silly, high energy, in part time preschool.)

Pets: None

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 8am-6pm (Flexibility to occasionally stay late for a date night would be great; the family would adjust the start time for the following day while still paying for those guaranteed hours to avid burn out!)

Pay: $35-$40 per hour

Benefits: Standard paid time off and modest healthcare stipend

Requirements:

·      5+ years of professional childcare experience starting at the age of 18 including time with infants/preschoolers and multiples

·      Legal authorization to work in the US

·      Someone able to physically handle stairs and growing children

·      Someone not set in their ways, super open and adaptable to the family’s routine and methods

·      Fluent English speaking

·      Annual flu shot

·      Current tdap

·      Clean driving record (nanny car provided)

·      Current CPR/FA in-person certification

·      Clear criminal background (able to pass thorough background check and Trustline registration process)

·      Open to travel with a valid passport (for up to a week at a time.)

Personality/Vibe: The family is looking for a happy person with good, positive energy. Someone loving, a career nanny who really wants to be there. Someone willing to play with a child and his imaginary friend! Their ideal nanny will be creative, kind, respectful, communicative, reliable, receptive to how the family does things and open to following a schedule/routine and sticking with the sleep training method the family has chosen. Please have a strong knowledge of age-appropriate activities for a baby and preschooler and their developmental milestones. This family wants to work with this person as a team. Discipline wise, they have firm but loving and kind boundaries. They like to compromise, use creativity. No drama. They model regulating emotions and they validate feelings. Everything is rooted in a kind place.
