A busy, creative and fun family of 4 in the Pico-Robertson area of Los Angeles is searching for a new full-time, long-term nanny for their two children to begin right away!
The schedule will be M&F from 9am-5pm and TWTH from 8am-5pm, guaranteed. Eventually, the schedule may extend to M-F 8am-6pm as workloads increase (both parents are in the entertainment industry and work from home part of the time), but this would be discussed with the nanny prior to any changes. This family is very respectful of their nanny’s time.
The pay being offered for this position is $35 per hour on payroll and the family is offering standard paid time off.
The requirements for this position are 5+ years of professional childcare experience (starting at age 18,) current in-person CPR/FA certification, a clean criminal background, annual flu shot and covid vaccine with one booster, a clean driving record (car provided for on-the-job driving), and a strong history of reliability with glowing, verifiable references. Spanish speaking or any second language is a plus, strong English is needed. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
In terms of personality, the family is seeking a nanny who is easy going, calm and responsible. They do not want any drama. A kind, loving, warm and genuine person who takes things in stride would be a great fit. The ideal nanny for this family will have a lot of energy, able to run after, play and keep up with active children. Finally, this family would like someone who is looking to work as a professional nanny for the next several years.
The job duties entail providing care for their 1-year-old son during the day (including planning fun outings) and their 6-year-old daughter after school/when home sick. All child-related tasks plus family laundry, help with dishes and basic tidying up is requested.
