Full Time Nanny Position for Two in Los Feliz! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

A warm and super busy family of 4 is looking for a new long-term nanny in Los Feliz! The details for this position are below. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST AND FOLLOW SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS. IF NOT, WE UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT YOUR APPLICATION.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Los Feliz

Parents: Mom and dad are full time working parents in the entertainment industry

Children: One 4-month-old healthy baby girl and one 2-year-old boy (Really energetic, starting school in July)

Pets: None

Guaranteed Schedule: M-TH 12:30pm-7:30pm, Friday longer day 8am-8pm. Flexibility to sometimes stay later for additional compensation (with notice.)

Longevity: Long term

Pay: $40 per hour firm

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience starting at the age of 18

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Clean criminal history (willing to undergo a thorough background check and go through the Trustline application process if not already registered)

• Clean driving record

• Safe reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement for on the job driving provided)

• Current in-person CPR/FA certification

• Covid vaccinated

• Current tdap vaccine

• Fluent English speaking

• Someone who likes to cook (not extensive cooking, but please be able to handle very basic nutritious meals/meal planning.)

Personality/Vibe: Warm, busy family. Both parents work high pressure jobs and need a lot of support. They have another nanny as well as a full-time housekeeper and they are looking for a true team player who brings good energy with a love of cooking! Someone very warm, flexible, adaptable, organized, tidy, and proactive about planning activities and meals but not someone who is "my way or the highway." Someone wonderful with children who will engage with them. Mom is not looking to micromanage anyone. But would love someone who will learn the family system, take the ball and run with it.

Duties: Child related tasks (No deep cleaning, think child related house chores: kid laundry, bottles, dishes/potentially some family dishes but not excessive, cleaning up after the children.) Light meal prep for the family (meals for the kids and basic meals for the adults 2X per week. Nothing elaborate; the parents eat what the child eats and repeat recipes are good. And the other nanny will have the children while you cook; you are not expected to be responsible for the kids while prepping meals.) No grocery shopping needed, mom can order whatever the nanny needs so it’s there for them.

Travel: Not needed
