Full Time Nanny Position for One Infant in Long Beach! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

Very sweet first-time parents are looking for a full-time nanny for their baby (app. 5 months when the position begins) at their Long Beach home at the end of April! Please see the details below!

Start Date: April 27

Location: Long Beach

Parents: Mom and Dad are both in the medical field, mostly from outside of the home. (Occasionally mom may work from home or be asleep if having worked an overnight shift.)

Child: One baby boy (app. 5 months when the position starts)

Pets: One medium sized dog. Friendly and independent. Would be a nice plus if she wanted to take him for the walk with the baby but not a must!

Schedule: 44 hours per week guaranteed, typical schedule being MWTH 8am-4pm and TF 7/8am-5/6pm. You will always have your specific schedule well in advance. Due to the nature of the parent’s work, they do need some flexibility in case they are running late.

Longevity: Long term

Pay: $35 per hour on payroll as a W2 employee

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience starting at the age of 18

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Fluent English speaking, but Spanish-speaking would be a wonderful additional language

• Current CPR/FA in-person certification (or willing to take an updated course, family will pay for it)

• Clean criminal history (Trustline registered or willing to apply and to undergo thorough background checks)

• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed for on the job driving)

• Current Tdap

• Annual Flu shot

• Initial Covid vaccine

• Shingles vaccine (if eligible/over 50)

• Firm understanding of child development/developmental milestones

Personality/Vibe: Calm, easy-going, flexible, reliable, trustworthy.

Duties: Baby related duties and some limited help with the dishwasher. Will provide a credit card for baby related errands/purchases.

Travel: Not needed.
