An incredibly kind pair of first-time parents is searching for a nanny for their 6-week-old baby boy in Century City! The schedule will be M-F 9am-3pm to start (with occasional days ending at 5pm) and will transition to a 40-hour work week (M-F 9am-5pm) in January. Dad works from home and mom is in the entertainment industry and will be present and involved with the baby some of the time, especially during the first few months. Therefore, willingness to work in a collaborative environment is important.
The ideal nanny for this family will be warm, patient, trustworthy, maternal, bubbly, proactive, and very experienced with babies and young children (10+ years of professional experience, please.) They would love their nanny to have some infant care/child development course work/trainings under their belt. This family takes covid/health very seriously and would like to find a nanny who feels the same, with up-to-date covid vaccinations (within the last year), an annual flu shot and current tdap. Please do not apply if you have children who are in school currently (again, for the protection/health of their newborn.) Valid CPR/First Aid certification, impeccable (verifiable) references, a clean driving record and a clear criminal background are all must-haves, and a standard NDA signature will be required. Must be legal to work in the US.
The duties for this position will be primarily baby care and basic tidying/light housekeeping. There will also be some family assistant related requests, especially during times when mom is with the baby.
The pay being offered for this position is $30-$35 per hour and the schedule/pay will be guaranteed each week. Standard paid time off will be provided, along with a healthcare insurance stipend.
While the family would love a long-term situation, they may be traveling over the summer without their nanny and fully understand that would make this a shorter-term contract. They will provide ample notice if this becomes the plan.
