Full Time Nanny Position for Family of 5 in West LA! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

An incredibly sweet family of five West LA is looking for a new nanny! Please note that until the fall, the nanny will only be responsible for the girls. Once Mom returns to work, the nanny will also take over the care of the baby (but the girls will go to school for a lot of the day and she will handle pick-ups, drop-offs, and after school care with baby in tow!) Start Date: Ideal start date is June 22 (but flexible)

Location: W LA (border of Santa Monica and Mar Vista)

Parents: Both parents work from home offices (mom exclusively and Dad part of the

time) but they are fully respectful and feel the nanny is in charge when she is on duty!

Guaranteed Schedule: M-TH 8am-5pm and F 8am-4pm. Occasional nights and

weekends might be requested, if available.

Children: One almost 5-year-old girl and one 3-year-old girl; sweet kids with a lot of

energy! And a new baby boy who will be 4 months old when the nanny begins taking

over his daytime care.

Pets: 2 dogs (no responsibilities for them but must be comfortable.)

Pay: $40 per hour (firm)

Long term: Long term!

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with children since age 18 (including experience

working with 3 children, please)

• A clean driving record

• A safe, reliable vehicle for on-the-job driving during the summer with the girls

(mileage reimbursement provided and once mom goes back to work, a family

vehicle will be available for driving all 3)

• Fluent English speaking

• Current cpr first aid in-person certification

• Clean criminal background (willing to undergo a thorough background check and

to apply for Trustline if not yet in the registry)

• Covid vaccinated (initial round)

• Annual flu shot a plus not a requirement

• Current tdap

• Legal authorization to work in the US

Ideal Personality: This family describes themselves as easy going. Not "type A" parents. the family dynamic is fun, lots of high energy, music, dancing, playful, imaginative play focused, highly active outdoors! They don’t take themselves too seriously, they are not super worried about what the kids eat (they want them to eat healthy but not obsessively), but are strong on manners (please, thank you, etc.) They are raising polite, respectful kids. They say they are not yellers but hold the line with boundaries and want a nanny who can do the same. They are looking for someone warm and sweet but also strong, who can step in and kindly but firmly correct the kids when

needed. They prefer very limited screen time and are therefore looking for someone engaging, outgoing, interactive and fun who is willing to get their hands dirty! They want someone who will feel like part of the family.

Duties: Child related housework only (kid tidying, kid laundry, kid meal prep, etc.)

Travel: Some domestic travel and overnights may be requested so please be

comfortable with that
