A busy and warm family in Westwood is looking for a full-time nanny to join their team! They have three children, ages 4, 2.5 and 7 months. Dad works from home and mom is a stay-at-home mama, but with three kiddos there is never a dull moment, and she needs someone confident with all of these ages (though their nanny will not be caring for more than 2 children on their own at a time.)
The schedule is M-TH 8am-8pm (with an option for Fridays as well, if that is preferable!) The position will begin June 19th.
Their ideal nanny will be happy, bubbly, active, energetic, positive, flexible and organized. Mom follows a specific parenting style/philosophy (RIE/Montessori), so someone open to learning who enjoys a team atmosphere would be a good fit. A good communicator is a major need, and fluency in English is required, although a big plus if you also speak Spanish. This family has only had one nanny and their current nanny (who is moving) is truly part of the family, so they are hoping to find another long term person.
The pay for this position is $35 per hour plus paid time off. The duties are only related to the children. Must have 5 years’ professional childcare experience (including at least 2 years as a nanny/mother’s helper) with verifiable references, up to date CPR/First Aid certification, a clean driving record (car provided), a clean criminal background, be covid vaccinated with current tdap, be able to travel for up to 10 weeks in the summer (spend summers in NY) with valid passport for occasional international travel and have the ability to work legally in the US.
