Full Time Nanny for One 7-Year-Old Girl in Irvine, CA!

A truly lovely family in Irvine, CA is looking for a nanny for their adorable 7-year-old girl starting January 2! Details for this position are below!

Start Date: January 2, 2026 (ideal)

Location: Irvine, CA

Parents: Both working full time, mostly outside of the home

Child: One 7-year-old girl, healthy, happy, and outspoken! and a newborn with an estimated birth date of 4/30. The position is strictly for the older child, as a separate nanny will be hired for the baby’s care.

Pets: No pets

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 11am-7pm (10am-6pm possibly, BUT 11-7 is strongly preferred) with occasional date night request, maybe once a month.

Longevity: Long term

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

Paid Time Off: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

·      5+ years of professional experience with children starting at the age of 18

·      Experience with school aged children and ability to help with homework and have engaging conversations with the child is the priority

·      Comfort/familiarity with babies a plus on the rare occasion where the nanny has both children

·      Clean driving record

·      Safe, reliable vehicle to use for work would be a huge plus

·      Fluent English speaker

·      Current tdap

·      Current in-person cpr/fa certification

·      Clear criminal record (Trustline registered or willing to be)

·      Legal authorization to work in the US

Personality/Vibe: Mom is an extrovert, dad more introverted. Parents work hard to have a very positive environment in their home. Calm and peaceful.  They are looking for someone super willing to be helpful in the home while their child is in school, a team player; mom will always meet you half-way but need a proactive, organized, "with it" person to help her manage the home.  A professional, relatively outgoing person, but respectful with an even balance between stern and disciplined and fun and energetic, who will speak to the child like a person.

Duties: Family assistant duties while the child is in school (the family has a part time housekeeper for weekly deep cleaning and another employee who also does deep cleaning weekly, so deep housekeeping will not be requested.) Nanny duties including school pick up, taking her to and from activities and preparing her for them, (making sure she has what she needs for each, including preparing a healthy snack), etc. and homework help.

Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally would be ideal, as would a valid passport, but not a dealbreaker
