Full Time Nanny for One 10 Month Old Baby Girl in Silverlake! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

A very kind and laid-back family in Silverlake is looking for a full-time nanny to begin immediately! The details for this position are below. Please read all the way through and only apply if you meet all requirements and are fully comfortable with the details as written.

Location: Silverlake

Parents: Mom works out of the home aside from Fridays and is starting new job in fashion! Dad works in finance (from home) and travels pretty frequently for work.

Children: One 10-month-old baby girl

Pets: No pets, but may get a small dog in the future so comfort with little dogs is needed

Schedule: Guaranteed M-F 40 hours minimum, between the hours of 8:30am-6:30pm. Dad travels 60% of the time, longer days while he is away. The family will provide the specific schedule at the start of each month. 

Longevity: Would love someone to stay for years, as their family grows!

Benefits: Standard PTO

Pay:  $35 per hour on payroll as a W2 employee

Requirements: 

·       5+ years professional experience starting at the age of 18

·       Physically able to handle steep hills and stairs

·       A career nanny with a history of commitment to families (1-2 years)

·       Current in-person cpr/fa certification

·       Clean criminal background (willing to undergo thorough background check and to be accepted onto the Trustline registry (if not registered)

·       Clean driving record

·       Safe reliable vehicle a plus (mileage reimbursement provided for any on-the-job driving)

·       English fluency needed

·       Background in child development a plus (or at least a firm understanding of milestones.)

·       Legal authorization to work in the US

·       Current tdap (and willing to update whenever baby 2 comes)

·       Verifiable references that the family can speak with directly

Personality/Vibe: This family is chill and laid back. They are looking for someone who is focused on engaging with their baby, educating her and interacting with her to help her reach her developmental milestones. The ideal nanny for them is warm, joyful, friendly but also observant and understanding when Dad is trying to work from home or Mom is trying to get out the door for work. Someone easy going, pleasant. The right combination of outgoing but chill, confident but not bossy; collaborative. Someone who likes to try new things, not super rigid, willing to adapt but also someone who is proactive, independent, and who takes initiative. Not someone super stuck in their ways. Safety first but other than that, they are looking for someone who is a bit adventurous!

Duties: Baby related only (baby laundry, baby meal prep, baby organizing, baby area tidying, “leave it how you found it!” in terms of the home.)

Travel: Not needed
