Full Time Infant Nanny Needed in Mar Vista! UPDATE: THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED!

A kind and loving first time mom and dad are looking for a Spanish speaking nanny for their (currently) 7-week-old baby boy to begin as soon as the right fit is found! They describe their family as energetic, happy and adventurous; they also love to laugh! They are both very hard working, with “Type A” personalities. They are looking for a nanny to join for them years and to grow with them!

The details for this position are below!

Start Date: ASAP (could start part time and go full time in January or start full time right away, depending on the nanny’s preference!)

Location: Mar Vista

Parents: Full time working but also involved parents (sometimes from home)

Children: One (currently) 7-week-old baby boy

Pets: None

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 10am-6pm

Pay: $30-$35

Benefits: Standard PTO

Requirements:

• 10+ years professional childcare experience starting at the age of 18 (with verifiable, glowing references)

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• CPR/FA current in-person certification (or willing to obtain prior to starting)

• Current Tdap

• Covid vaccinated with one booster

• Annual flu shot

• Ample time with infants and experience with all the “firsts” (willing to help and guide first time parents but also willing to follow the parent’s philosophies if they have preferences)

• Knowledgeable about developmental milestones and activities to help facilitate them (including into the toddler/prek age)

• Someone able to keep up with the baby as he grows

• Clean criminal background (Trustline registered or eligible and willing to obtain)

• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle for on the job driving in the future

• Bilingual in English/Spanish speaking needed (would prefer mostly in Spanish be spoken to the baby)

Duties: Child related only

Travel/Overnights: Occasionally would be a plus but not a dealbreaker
