Full Time Infant Nanny in the South Bay (Border of Redondo & Hermosa) UPDATE: THIS POSITION IS CLOSED FOR NOW.

A really laid back and kind couple of first-time parents in the South Bay (at the border of Redondo and Hermosa) is looking for a full-time, long-term nanny for their 4-month-old baby girl!

Start Date: Flexible! (Any time between now and May works for this family)

Location: South Bay (border of Redondo and Hermosa)

Parents: Mom works some from home full time and Dad works from home most days but travels weekly. Both parents want to ensure their nanny has the space needed to do their job and do not plan on micromanaging their nanny.

Child: Almost 4-month-old baby girl, healthy other than some reflux challenges

Pets: Two cats, very gentle (not part of the position but must be comfortable and not allergic)

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Longevity: Long term (at least a couple years!)

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Pay: $35-$40 per hour and a modest healthcare stipend

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience starting at the age 18, ample and recent experience with infants (3 professional, verifiable references required that can positively attest to this experience)

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Initial covid vaccinated with one booster

• Annual flu shot

• Current measles vaccine record

• Current tdap

• Current and in-person certification

• Clean criminal background (able to pass a thorough background screening and either Trustline registered or able and willing to go through the process)

• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided for on-the-job driving)

• English speaking

• Second language a plus

• College educated or some child development credits a plus

Personality/Vibe: “We’re pretty laid back. We like to have a warm, inviting, comfortable home, but also clean. We don’t keep a strict household, but our baby is on a schedule so need someone who can follow her routine and keep track of everything. We need someone who is organized, warm, nurturing, engaging with the baby, talking to her a lot!”

Duties: Baby related duties only

Travel: Possibly some in the future (willingness to travel on occasion needed)
