Family Assistant Position for Two School Aged Kids in Encino! UPDATE: THIS POSITION IS CLOSED.

A hard-working family of four is looking for a new family assistant to begin any time between now and the fall! Start Date: Any time between the end of this month and the fall!

Location: Encino

Parents: Mom and Dad both work from home full time

Children: One (almost) 9-year-old boy and one (almost) 7-year-old girl. The kids are healthy and super playful! They love games, coloring, swimming (please be a capable swimmer!)

Pets: No (but might get a dog in the future so please be comfortable)

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 1:30pm-7:30pm (30 hours with occasional longer days requested, if available)

Longevity: Long term potential!

Pay: $35 per hour

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5+ professional experience starting at the age of 18

• Clean driving record

• Safe reliable vehicle for driving the kids (mileage reimbursement provided)

• Clean criminal background (willing to undergo a thorough background check and apply for Trustline if not yet on the registry)

• Current in-person cpr/fa certification

• Fluent English speaking (Hebrew a plus)

• Willingness to learn the rules of a kosher home (parents will teach you!)

• Initial covid vaccine

• Annual flu shot a plus

• Legal authorization to work in the US

Personality/Vibe: The family is looking for someone who is playful, organized, reliable, warm, responsible, proactive, flexible and easy going, and collaborative, who takes direction well and does not have a “my way or the highway” attitude.

Duties: Cooking basic, nutritious meals for the family, driving the kids to and from activities and supervising homework/manage their schedules, running family errands, organizing projects, keeping things in stock, etc. No deep cleaning; the family has a housekeeper.

Travel: None but occasional overnights will be requested
